NPARC - New Mapoon Field Lighting
Tender submitted and awarded Q2 2019, declared frustrated Q3 2019, scope of works and proposed solutions were as follows. Contract was declared frustrated as defined in AS 4902:2000 due to the intermediary project management firm failing to pay project deposit according to schedule, meaning the project could not be delivered as intended.
SCOPE
This tender was for the design, supply and installation of a new sports field lighting solution in the township of New Mapoon in Far-Northern QLD.
Solution
30m galvanised steel lighting towers, Phillips LED field lighting arrays, customised footing cages and a robust transport & erection plan.
Civil works were to be undertaken by HC Building based in Mareeba - selected based on strong track record in the region, comprehensive quality management systems and their commitment to local content and engagement.
